There are 14 verses to this poem.. we all know how it ends so dont cut it short... ;)

Twas the night before Christmas And all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, 'cept me, my Sim and mouse..
LiPO's warm on the bench, as the re-charger humms
Think Santa's bringin me a model, think I'll stay up till he comes.

The plane were nestled all snug in their shop,
While visions of a warm sunny day danced in their thoughts;
And mamma in her R/C widow pajamas, and I in my flight suit,
Had just settled down for a long winter's all night building session,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the shop to see who had crashed now.

A Magpie, nose down, in the new-fallen snow
with her prop and pushrods scattered below.
Then, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
The whole crew from WattFlyer, all with radios and gear..

Pulling out wires and motors, balsa and foam,
A mega rescue operation in front of my home..
Planes and heli’s landing one after the other,
I wanted to say HI, what are the names, oh brother…

Firemanbill and Grasshopper, Kosh, SolidHit..
The guy with the twin-glider.. what’s his name? Oh…… darn
Stood on my car, my porch, they’re climbing my wall
Using wires from my lights… “Be careful with that ya’ll!!”

Steam from hot-glue guns float into the sky,
Think Riverman said “suuuuure it’ll fly”.
The crowd now disbursed I got a better view,
A noseart of St. Nick, the plane looked near brand new!!
