In this new F-22 Raptor video, Major Paul "Max" Moga talks you through the maneuvers he performs during the airshow demonstration flight. Each maneuver is shown from entry to exit so you get a true feel of the F-22's capabilities. Strap in!

Very cool vid. Max is a super nice guy too!

I have the honor and privelage of working on Langley and seeing that demo in person more times than I can count...

The lack of reference points makes it hard to judge speed and agility of the plane. A necessary trade off for the tight focus on the plane though I'm sure. I have seen a Falcon and and Eagle at air shows in the past so I have some idea of how tight he is turning. I like how he explained all the maneuvers he was doing. I also liked watching the control surfaces act out what he was describing. It seemed like it only needed a "nudge" in the right direction to get it doing whatever he wanted.
The heritage flight at the end was very powerful IMHO. Just beautiful.
Thanks for sharing the vid!
