Some time ago I start new project using J.C. Wilkerson drawing of Bristol Scout Type D.
Wingspan is 32"
I'll try to keep weight under 16oz if I can.

Here is almost finished plane

Also some of decals are already in place

Sorry about the dates on the pics - they are incorrect. Actually building begin in march 2007.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. Soon I will start new project, much bigger and more detailed, but was wondering if anyone is interested. I can post build log in here if someone want.

After some time i decide to build one more Bristol Scout (the first one is in possession of one friend of mine), this time using laser cutted parts. So i did some redesigning and send the file to a friend for cutting. The construction is very straightforward and easy to assemble, so it didn't take a long time to get me to bare bones assembly.

More time spend on this model get me closer to first flight. Decals are regular printed tissue on ink jet.

Finally, day of the first flight. There is more work to be done, but i decide to check how she will behave in the air before i put more hours on her. Flights where uneventful, she needs little adjustment on control trows, but overall i am satisfied with her behavior. There was some wind but that was not really a problem. Only time i did wished to be calm was on landing when i got side wind that keep blowing her a bit.
