I want to turn my SS into a brushless setup. What motor, battery and prop do I need. I have a couple Fiego a Motors. Thanks

You don't give the model number for your Feigao motors, though I don't think they are powerful enough to haul the Slow Stick aloft (IPS Feigao replacements?) unless you do a "twin" Slow Stick. :)

Photos below show mine with the Hobby Lobby Esskay 400XT (on sale for $19.90 through midnight tonight). I use a G/P SS-12 ESC ($34.95) and G/P 900mil 11.1V Li-Pos ($39.99) spinning a 9X3.8SF APC propeller. Climbs almost vertically while delivering better than 18oz of thrust! :D

Motor mount adapter is an E-Flite EFLM1915 stck motor mount for their outrunners ($4.99). It works with the 400XT perfectly. :)

If you want a "tamer" brushless Slow Stick you can use a 10X3.8SF propeller and go to a 7.4V 900mil or 1200mil Li-Po. It will still outperform the original power plant considerably and give you much longer flight times. :)

There are a couple of good threads on brushless Slow Sticks here at WattFlyer. Please use the 'search' feature and you will have plenty to read.

Like qban, I suspect those motors you have will be too small.

Oh Yeah....I have a Himax HC2808-1160 here with no plane attached to it. Wonder if that would work? It even has a stick mount on it.
