View Full Version : DX6 and telebee gyro

Hi, I seem to have become a bit confused on setting the gyro gain on my telebee gyro with the dx6. the book doesn't seem to talk about this. I have the GER set to A and at 45%.It is my understanding that setting GER to A allows me to use the aileron D/R switch to switch from 0 heading lock to 1 rate mode and 45% is the amount of the total travel of the rudder servo a bit softened. Now here is where I seem to be confused and that is setting the gyro gain and the GER subtrim is for centering the rudder servo arm. It is my understanding that I can't set the gain remotely on the telebee using the dx6 so the gain has to be set using the trimmer pot on the gyro. Any help clarifying this issue would be appreciated . thanks.

OK, I figured it out. I set the gyro gain to 38% in both HH and rate using the GER travel limit, 45% was too much and produced wag. that seems to be the sweet spot with no tail wag.:D
