I noticed WF likes to have contests which is a great idea. Sparks interest in the site and keeps thing exciting for both the participants and the readers.

I was thinking (especially from seeing GreenAce's inventions) that WF could host a Scratchbuilding contest about every other month. That should give participants enough time to design and build a plane. The Mod would pick a type of plane to build/design to such as a parkflyer 12 ounces or less and we would build a flyable plane to meet those requirements. Or he could say build a pre-WWII style plane no more than 28 ounces. Or build a X out of foam only or a pusher style plane that can carry a camera. Ideas on the type of plane could be endless.

What do you think? Good idea, bad idea? I know there are a lot of modelers who really enjoy building and this might be a good idea for them to show off their talents.
