View Full Version : Anyone using Polk Tracker III for FH Sailplanes?

A friend asked me for advice on a radio upgrade to take him into full house and scale sailplanes.

I offered several, but realised that I did not know if the Polk was appropriate. It uses a different programming model from other radios. I don't see 4 wing servo, crow, camber control or many of the other common mixes used in sailplanes. But perhaps you build them in the user mixes.

So, I am asking for use reports from anyone flying sailplanes, electric or not, with the Polk Tracker III.

Thanks for the help guys!

I used my Tracker II on 2, 3, 4, and 5 channel sailplanes with good luck. Of course I don't get into the presets for launch, glide, etc. so that may be another thing to figure out.

I was very happy with the II and can't wait to get the III going when the weather gets better.
