I know it is cool, uh this might be a dumb question but do humans see in FPS? or is it constant?

Some of the heli guys at my field use optical tachs to gauge headspeed, what you see through the window essentially looks like the video posted when you have the headspeed dialed into the tach.

Humans do see in FPS. Our eyes basically capture an image and send it to our brain. We work exactly like a video camera does. just in ultra high quality lol. (unless like me you need glases...good prescription we can see well but then they get scratched and dirty)

Humans eye doesn't see anything about 60frames per second. We cant process or capture and react tot he stimuli in our brains fast enough.

heres a good website http://www.100fps.com/how_many_frames_can_humans_see.htm
