View Full Version : Dr., is surgery necessary for hobby-itis?

Dear Doctor,

I have delayed follow up. All three hobbies are still present. The airplane one is the same size, but the tugboat ones are larger than they were. The doctor says it's not hobby-itis, but I need surgery to remove them right away.

I don't really get the urgency - they haven't really caused any symptoms or problems. What may happen if I leave the hobbies alone? They haven't grown in two months, what is the likelihood they will begin to grow again?
