It was quite unintentional, I'll admit that.

I have begun talks with a friend of Crabzilla's for a joint video effort. He wants to combine our video efforts.

Once we get the logistics figured out, it will make for a VERY interesting video.

I am going to go with, why not? It can't be any less legal than bike riding or skate boarding, both done on public road ways.

I kept waiting for them to pan down to the speedometer, I have a feeling they were going the speed limit for most of the video.

So, they weren't impeding traffic, or acting recklessly. Although, there is certainly potential for someone to do just that.

You know fellas, I am not a lawyer, but we always took the approach that Monkey described. That is, we chose our routes to minimize traffic conflict. That mostly meant we had enough runout at top and bottom to get in and out of the road without getting in anyone's way. This seemed to work well. The two times our pathes crossed with the law, the police had a simple curiousity, nothing more. When we started boarding, we did standup. My buddy and I parked our car in a pretty upscale neighborhood and were bombing a short steep hill one day. Before one run, at the top, we saw a police car come screaming in and pull up to our empty car, so we causally rolled over to see what was up. It turns out a resident had called them because they saw a suspicious empty car. But once the police checked us out, they simply gave us their blessing and we went back to a nice morning of downhill.

Incidentally, Monkey, that hill is posted at 45mph. We were within 13 mph of that.

Steve, how many hits has that video of that SR-71 had. You did a good job on the music and the editing. Think I'll have to refurbish those planes and fly em again. Funny how the simplest scratch builds can be the most awesome looking , and flying planes. Chellie that Mig-29 for sure is the best turbine piloting I've ever seen.

Just a simple carrier landing in front of a film crew on top of a six story school. They wanted me to land right at the crew. If you look in front of the plane after it stops about 3 feet away you can see the film crew. Got lucky

Actually that was the second shoot. The first shoot the week before was way more hectic. Thirty people on the roof plus safety crew, sound crew director and three cameras ,props people ,everyone plus there mothers. Plus they changed to a different roof. So I didn't get to practice on this roof. After this landing the wind really picked up and I couldn't hit that spot for the perfect landing. I should post the other landings. Not very pretty. I was able to hit the spot 3 times out of maybe 10 landings. The first two landings the previous week were the best. One was on film. This shoot was with the second camera crew one director and my friend with a camera on another roof. Much more laid back. It looks easy but give it a try sometime. Very nerve recking. I agree with you now that I look at the video I said the same thing "Man that looks so easy". The four foot wall and the wind from 3 different directions added a little difficulty to the landings. Hey, but other then that it was a piece of cake.:D

Oh, One other thing there was only one plane no back ups so I could'nt screw up, period.

That was a good one Kosh. It's a lot harder to fly combat than I think most people think. The depth perception is the hardest for me. Lat summer 6 of us had a combat match with some bluecor warbirds. It was a blast!!! 6 planes all diving at each other with 25 ft streemers flapping in the breese. We had a blast.

Lets see some more videos guys!!! Post em up!!:D
