Wholy smokes... this plane performs like.. well... like I didnt expect.

Building came in exactly as the plans said, 20 oz. Hitec HS55's sporting a ThunderPower 2100 3c. Vertical is unlimited, sporty flight is at or below 1/2 throttle. The Triton 20 controller and Hyperion 2213-20 motor is way more powerful than I expected, and after 15~20 minutes of hot dog flying, it comes in cool as ambient temprature. The box shows wire landing gear, but the aluminum came with it. The cowl is a super sweet fiberglass unit, painted very nicely. Mount and go. No hassle cutting or trimming.

With the battery pack all the way against the firewall, and the RX and controller logically mounted reasonably forward, I still added 1/4 oz to the motor support for balance. With that change, inverted flight only needed the slightest pressure on the stick, and flat spins were much flatter.
The battery tray is awesome in the fact that the canopy slides in under the cowl securing the front, and provides easy access to the battery tray. I didnt want to hassle with the provided screws, so I just scotch tape the canopy down at the rear. I'll figure out a magnet setup soon enough!

I added the stripes under because my dad, HiRCflier complained about visibility.

Overall I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the Hyperion lineup. The Cap, & Sukhoi have convinced me that I have a favorite manufacturer now (so much so that I just got the Mustang!)
