Hi All,
I'll expand on why later (involved parties post/read here) but I want to get a large-ish (40" or so) balsa kit. I'd like it to be a less common bird (Halberstadt CL or along those lines), but if someone did a Pup/D-7/Camel/ect. kit they loved I'd be open to that, too. SO- anybody done a kit they loved building and flying? I'd really prefer that it be a kit, not just plans though....
Thanks in advance-:)

I have not done a kit in MANY years.
I've only done ARF bashing and scratch. But I like what you're after. I also would like to do a full kit one of these days, in the 40" range. I'd probably lean towards something like a Jenny, but not sure.

What I really want, I haven't found.
Been looking for a 2 seater fighter/bomber, like a SPAD XI, or a Salmson, or an Albatros 2 seater. Just love the look of a second guy with a rotating gun - would be fun to build.

So, sorry, no advice, just a subscriber to your thread!

Try www.manzanolaser.com (http://www.manzanolaser.com) or www.aerodromerc.com (http://www.aerodromerc.com) for a start. You could do a search for Peck Polymers too and see if they have anything. Those are the best guesses I have!! Steve
