View Full Version : Discrepencies in servo spects.

Hi all!

I was planning on using two HS-55s and one EK2-0500 for the swash on my EXI 405.

I am a little concerned because of the differences in spects.

The HS-55

Speed: 0.17 sec/60 at no load
Torque: 15.27 oz-in. (1.1kg.cm)

The EK2-0500:

Speed: 4.8V: 0.12sec/60 deg
Torque: 4.8V: 1.3 kg/cm

Are these spects to far apart for a 450 heil and a beginner pilot?

I'm not sure why you would use different servos to run the swash. Make all 3 the same and you won't have issues.

I am trying to use what I have before I spend. I already need an esc and a radio.

I'm just like that I suppose.

Buy another HS-55 It's not a good idea to mix servos in a CCPM setup. Rate of travel being the same is quite important for collective movement without side effects.

Sorry Vortex I beat you to it. I picked up an HS55 and a DX6i radio from my LHS yesterday.
