Can I get a section for R/C TASK FLYING. All of us hover, we fly inside, we fly outside IN CIRLCES, but alot of us work our models as some feel a model should work,. Opening this door creates path to new horizons. I found that task flying made me a BETTER pilot 100%. You might ask what is task flying, well its a term I dicovered used by sailplane guys. This is when you have a Mission with your plane, rather it be bomb drop, landing inside a circle, or flying high altitudes. I would like to see a topic for this if possible.

Thanks for your time.

I inspire folks to work there models, see what kids are doing and NOTICE there families are involved...Im sorry but the family is missing in alot of your flying...try it sometime its awesome.

James set up a nylon cord between 2 volleyball poles at our school field one day.To use as a limbo, 5 or 6 pilots tried it. I think 3 crashed by hitting the rope or a pole. LOL Course, Steve had to do it inverted. Glider contests have a timed flight with spot landing competition

Neat idea.

Our club has a "Pilot Accomplishment Program" where once achieving a certain set of manuevers you get awarded a certain level within the club and presented a hat with the club logo on teh front and you level on the back.

It starts with Sport pilot then goes to "Advanced", "Aerobatic", and finally "Competition" levels. Each succesive level has ore and more diffcult tasks to complete.

I am currently at the Sport level and have two tasks left to get my Advanced level.

It does add a new dimension to flying for sure. When I am just punching holes in the sky I usually seem to get bored and land before my timer goes off. When I am working on something, trying to perfect it my timer always seems to interrupt me just as I am getting going good...:)
