Looking to sell a digital camera - I don't need it any longer as I'm in the hospital.

I'm including the last photo that I took so that you have some idea about the picture quality...

At first I thought it was a picture of an old girlfriend...

My first car was a 57 bug that I bought when we lived in Germany. My mom would stomp the floorboards while teaching me to drive when we went around corners too fast...

I've owned a bug ever since I was 19, my first one was a 72 Super, have been getting them progressively older since then

The only time I haven't owned one since then was my two years stationed in Germany... owned a Ford the whole time I was there:eek: figure that one out...

I will date myself a bit and say I am restoring my 66 bug. Bought new in 66. My first new car at 22 years of age. Worked for vw so got employee discount. $1100. I still have the sale invoice.

That's cool Stan. My latest bug is a 67 that I got from the second owner. He bought it in 1970. It has 92k original miles. motor, floor pans and paint are all origianl as well. I actually convinced the VA DMV to put "actual" on the title for mileage. They didn't want to at first but when the guy went out and took a look at it he had nothing further to say than wow!

SUPER WOW !! Bring that to Ca. and you will get 8k easy.
My E-mail is [email protected] I retired out of the shop, and may be able to help you or other vdub owners with questions about the old bugs. No rabbits or others please. Only bugs.

Well I Guess I got a deal on it at 2k then eh! Thanks for the offer on help on the old bugs... not as much expertise on them here on the east coast.

Someone say Bugs??? Where's my flyswatter?? I only owned one VW; it got broadsided, so I bought it for the running gear and converted it into a dune buggy, licensed and all. After that, I was convinced that converting was the best possible use for a VW ;-).

I ran Morris Minors for ~30 years, more economical, more fun, much better handling: I showed a few VWs the shortcut to a dinted roof with my '65 convertible...
