Spad x111

Hello Folks,
Yet another new boy here needing help of course. I've bought a Spad x111 kit which recommends the Elictrifly rimfire 28-30-950 brushless motor. After reading the various comments on this motor i'm more than a bit reluctant to buy it. Can anyone out there help with a replacement suggestion please? The actual plane is the ELECTRIFLY SPAS X111 by Great Planes. Thanks...

There are plenty of motors with equivalent power. One of my favourites is the Towerpro 2915-960 which is a 400W max motor. Of course I wouldn't know if it would fit the model without adaptations to the mount system.

Or you could check out the power of the ElectriFly motor and spend a happy hour or two looking through some web sites like HobbyKing or GiantCod for alternatives.
