Well, just finished this up last friday night, and was off to the field at 0530 saturday morning for the maiden.

One of the nicest kits I have put together, although a little tough at times. This was the 11th kit I have assembled and the 24th overall plane I have built (arf's included)

Here's the pictures of her prior to the maiden voyage. This is the second plane I have done like this, exccept this one is mirrored top and bottom for the covering.
Covering is Micro lite covering.

Nice edge. Your covering scheme looks great. Bil's kits are without question the best out there.

Wow! Incredible! What a knock-out!
How was the maiden? What power system did you use? Did you use the Dubro micro pull/pull system? If so, how did you snake the threads through those tiny guide tubes?
That's probably the best covering job I've seen.
If I try to do trim work over the covering, it usually just de-laminates and peels off after a little while.
Very clever! Tell us more.
Maybe you should describe your methods in the build section.
Clever indeed.
