Going in tomorrow to get a new right knee, Took almost 70 years to wear out the first one,if I get half that out of the replacement I'll be happy.

This will be my third replacement joint, right hip and left knee in 2014.

Every time I get a joint fixed the hospital is out of the brushless electric ones so I have to get the regular old manual ones.:D

Every thing should go great as it is the same surgeon.

Maybe I will be more inclined to go flying when things don't hurt.

Stay safe mate. At 69 I have been very lucky with joints. Couple of back surgeries and a second 'man' surgery coming up in two weeks but all is good. No cancer anyway.

Everything seems to be great
my surgeon is very happy with my progress already so I guess it's working good
Of course it still hurts like heck, if I move it the wrong way

I have more swelling than they expected and it is severely cutting into my ability to recover from this. About all I can do for a few days is to rest, then maybe I can start rehab.

Thanks for the good thoughts, it means a lot to me.
