I need help from an experienced electric flyer...

I just upgraded a 71" glider (880 grams with the old motor and a 1 cell 1500 Lipo battery) from a brush motor to a new 020 Astro Geared System 803G. I used a 11 x 8 folding prop. It flew great! Can't believe the power and smooth pull. However, after about 3 min's of flight the motor shuts down. I used a new Graupner Lipo 1500 nAh battery with 3 cells (11.1v)

I changed the prop to a 10 x 8 and the same thing happened.

From what I understand the Contol 803G has no control adjustments for voltage cut off (it's automatic). Help! What am I doing wrong? Do I need a smaller prop?

It sounds like you need more battery capacity, a larger ma. pack.
I think your dropping down to 9 volts, and the motor shut's off.
