Anyone had any experience with the Ripmax Mustang? Ive had the GWS version but found it a little too small - the Ripmax P51 is a much easier to see 48'' span and probably more stable too?

If I do get one I was hoping to use my HET Typhoon 15-10, a 3cell 2100 Lipo and 9 x 6 prop but I am not sure if It would be up to it?

Can anyone suggest a motor that would give aerobatic performance - preferably something like a Hacker or an AXI as these are readily available in the UK - and would I need another ESC as my largest is only rated for 30amps continuous.

Hi Tom, there's a 3 page thread on RCG by Bigplumbs regarding the Ripmax P-51. It's a very complete build thread with lots of useful tips and problems to avoid. He's using an AXI 28/20/10 with a Jeti 40A Advance ESC, 3700mAh 3S LiPo with a 10" x 7" prop. Page 3 is the flight report. There's also mention of a Hyperion motor but I didn't get the number. It's here; http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=524817&pp=15
Have Fun, keep us posted!
