Any idea of plane weight,prop.batteries to use.

Didn't know they made an 2820/8. I have a couple 2820/10 and use them with APCE 11x7 props and 3S2P lithium packs in sport planes in the 3 to 4 lb AUW category. I also flew them with 10 cell packs of GP 3300 with good results also, just not as good as lipolys. This setup keeps the amps in the low forties and watts around 400 at static WOT. :cool: Makes for some nice flying planes.

its the new motor. not in their web site yet
runs on 6-8 cells only
1500 RPM/V
Max.efficiency current 25-37A
pretty fast RPM
more like to run on a fast plane
