Hi Bob :) I have been away from WF for a little while, been trying to heal up from a pinched Sciatic nerve , ouch, getting better now, on the bixter, i would use this motor and a 8x8 prop with a 3 cell, that should wake it up :)

Hey any experience on a bixler 3? I can't seem to find any info on the motor that's in it. 2620--1400 kv. They make an adapter for different motors, but you have to butcher the engine nacelle. I maidened it today. After getting Cg right it flew wonderful, but kinda a slug! Trying to stay with a 3 cell.

    Any advice accepted !

Hey anyone out there upgrade the Super Sky surfer motor? Is it better to go to 4s? I have 3s & some 4s batteries already--or buddy up 3s's ?

The stock motor is a 1250 kv outrunner. I really don't want to modify the motor housing either. This is a pretty big plane.

Any info would be appreciated !

I'm not into fpv either at this time.

Chellie if you read this I would love your input.

I'm flying a Sky Scout currently on steroids, but plane kinda small at 800-1000 ft.

Hi Bob :) This motor will work very well for you. you should be able to use a 9x6 or 8x6 prop on 4 cells, check your amps with a wattmeter, your 40 amp esc should be fine, but it would be best to use a 60 amp esc to be on the safe side, this motor is rated at 600 watts, the motor that comes with the plane is only rated at about 275 watts, it will go like hell with this motor :) on 4 cells, Hope that helps, Chellie

    Hello Chellie,

Hey was looking into a Airfirld Giant convertible edf power rc glider---Nitroplanes !

Some of the blogs say it's slightly underpowered ! It comes with

    Wingspan: 2400MM(94.49inch)
    Length: 1518MM(59.77inch)
    Flying Weight: 2250~2300g
    Propeller version
    Motor: Out runner brushless AT3010-920KV
    ESC: 40A Brushless ESC
    Servo: 17g*6
    Propeller: 8*6inch

What would be a little more powerful motor that eill fit in there ?
It uses a 4s batt-- 40 amp esc comes with ?

You nail the setups wonderfully everytime.

    Thanks --BOB

Hi :) The Assassin would be a great first time wing, I would add additional winglets to it, so its at least 1" above the top of the wing and 1" below the wing, the winglets tips will make the wing feel like its flying on Rails, the winglets can be made from 6mm depron foam or plastic, just hot glue them on,
