Apologies for anything that looked even close to oversight...
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, It has been crazy around here work wise. Up until Tuesday mid day I had two people fighting over a Wednesday survey. Both elected to go for Thursday and Friday instead which meant I had to bump two lesser inspections to next week.
We should start checking calendars for next commissioning week and just plan on it..your entire family. After all how will Michael ever get his sea legs.
Hope your week is going well. Did get a chance to run thru some batteries in Ohio this weekend. A little carnage but not too bad.

I found an interesting looking field at 6600 freetown rd, Columbia. I think its a highs school with track oval around a football/soccer field. Eyelevel view shows some light posts but nothing major.
Looks like the winds are going to go to 12-15 around 9:00. You do have a pretty busy few days coming up with club events. May just need to push the flying back but would be happy to drive up for a cup of coffee and check the field out. Will of course have planes in the back of the "aircraft carrier" and can look at conditions in the AM.

Thanks for stoppin by. Trip to Charleston was Ok, business related with some personal stops to see old friends. Came back to a real can of worms work wise. Should'nt complain as I have it pretty good most of the time. Typically average two days of work per week not including the paper work when I finish up. Its been 5-7 days per week for the past three weeks and only this week do things look a bit more normal. Will get in touch Thursday to see if we can get together (not mothers day!!) this weekend.

Hey Bob. I just thought I would drop in and say Hello. How was your trip to SC?? I know you said it was work related, but I know you took some kind of a small plane with you. Well maybe not.
When are we getting together to fly?? Let me know how your work schedule is looking.

Hope its more of a PIA than something serious. I know you've been looking forward to this since last summer. I'll give you a call sometime tomorrow and see watts up. My son is three and a half but has always had an eye for older women LOL..... will have to get those two together....hell we still have to get together to fly sometime. There is a guy pretty close in (shepard 62) that just got into Rc with an apprentice. Seems like a pretty good guy and is definitely hooked. I've had a few PMS and posts exchange.
Will touch base tomorrow...if youre tied up then just give me a call when your'e clear. No work for me tomorrow other than paper work.

    Yo Andrew,
Got your text Friday, still alittle slow on the draw on those. Sometimes I feel like I'm rushing headlong into the '80's.lol. Been following your prep for SEFF and have to envy you and your family for putting that "show on the road".
I at least managed to get about 45 minutes of air time today, the first since before Christmas. Two of my bipes, Tiger moth (nitroplanes) which maidened last Thanksgiving and an identical (trial for expo, DR etc) that had been held up with "technical difficulties". I had set both up with identical expo, DR, travel and was happy to see them both perform identical. Can now play with those settings a bit at the time to see what affect (never had computer radio til last spring) the changes have.
May try flying again tomorrow, still three finished winter projects (well two ARFs and the scratch Ryan) yet to maiden. At least my hanger is looking abit deeper this spring and my repair activity has slowed to none in 6 months.

Hope your Christmas season is joyful and your building season productive. Sounds like you're off to a good start for SEFF.
I tried earlier to send a Christmas greeting but the format was too large for the PM site to handle. I went ahead and placed a "blanket" greeting in Off topic chit chat labeled Merry Christmas (seemed appropriate). Sit the family down and have a listen.

    Andrew and Johanna,
Thanks for the picture and greetings...What a super family and everyone looks very happy.
Johanna, need to talk to you about that "angel" thing. Obviously you need a second opinion..lol.
    Merry Merry Christmas

Recieved photo and enclosed stat sheet for Michael. Very nicely done. I think we all appreciate you and Joanna sharing the ups and downs. its especially nice that the happily ever after part is starting to take place and Michael is home for Thanksgiving...a whole new meaning to that holiday.
Thanks for the wake up call.
