The instructions say to just "wiggle" the pieces loose but I prefer to poke the little holders with an Xacto. Just run the knife down the length of the straight runs. I didn't notice at first, but you can find a nice copy of the instructions on thier web site. I am by no means a master builder but I got 4 kits under my belt that went pretty well. Any problems or questions, feel free to drop me a line. Take your time, It will pay off. That Funky 40 was a lot of the cutting sanding. I like the laser!

No, no competition, just jealous. The deal for the ZAP machine fell through. Guy sold it to somebody else. Sooooo, I will be watching your cub closely. You built many planes?

I got jealous of your b-day clipped wing. I found myself a NIB HOB Zap machine over at RC Groups for $40 shipped! WHEEEE!

You got the clipped wing! That looks nice. I have been kinda looking at them myself. That will make a real nice easy flyer. Or, are you gonna 3d it :p Be sure to post how its going. Not sure if you used it but the coverite microlite goes on real easy.
No building for me today. My kitchen sink drain froze and cracked. A little water in the basement, then I saw it pouring outside out of the side of the house! Oh well, steel plumbing needed replacing some time. Stay warm, seems like we have a lot of winter left.
