OK ... in Blue Max - there is one blatant mistake made in every sequence when the planes are in a Dog-fight ..... the movie makers actually admitted they knew it was wrong - but it was added to give more 'viewer feel' when the camera frames the pilot ...

Here's a clue ....

Anyone care guess what it was ?

The way the guns are fired ... in Blue Max - the pilot takes one hand to that handle between the guns .... The Movie Makers said using that gave 'viewers' a feel of what was happening ...

Re-hash film cgi are great, its the actors and the message that looses me. Sometimes films like classic music are best left alone......

The DR1 is painted with LOLA ... so its got to be "The Great Waldo Pepper" ...

Its the final sequence where Waldo gets into mock battle with the German Ace ... where they take off after dumping the parachutes.

Great Job Soylent life! I love that classic film, and I have to admit, I love the beautiful Sopwith Camel, and the awesome Fokker dr-1 that were used just for that film. The Jenny was sweet too, they actually sell or sold at one time kit planes for all three, 3/4 scale if I remember?

Yeupers the Soylent Green film, that film freaked me out for quite a few years. Being a youngin' at the time I thought that's how you die. Go into a room, look at some happy scenes, croak, then get turned into food for others, it really messed me up! LOL!!!! Gotta love my man Charlton Heston, Soyyyylent green is people, or you blew it up.....
