I am having a problem setting up the voting panel so the voting guidelines can be met. I will get it done ASAP. The variables are difficult to set up.

Sorry for not posting my excuses earlier.

I had like 4 builds I was supposed to do, but never got around to them :(. Oh well. Next year maybe.

Don't feel too bad. Had one that didn't fly, and one I finally flew today.

The Scratchbuild Contest Number 2 Voting is now open in this thread.

Be sure and vote in all categories.

Sorry for the five separate polls but that is the only way I could figure out how to allow everyone to vote in each category and to vote once per category.

So who is ready for another scratchbuild contest? Nothing as elaborate as the last one, after all this is flying season. Just something for fun to keep the ideas flowing.

If there is enough interest I will start a new thread and we can discuss what all will be involved.

Although, I dont have any cool things planned at the moment.....

Here's my$.02 worth. How about a quickie contest. As in a quicko - cheapo profile build. 2 or 3 weeks start to finish, maybe less??. That way the fly season isn't muddied up with the time consumption of building an elaborate build and then keep the Sept. to Dec. contest as it was last year. I must admit that I have other motives as my build shop is hotter that the hinges of he!! this time of year and spending a bunch of time there isn't going to happen:D Just a thought.

I dont mind keeping it short - but lets not limit it to any particular type. I hate restrictions :)

smokejohnson 05-09-2009 12:39 AM

I went ahead and started a new thread to toss around ideas for contest #3.
