I will start this thread off with one of mine.
This is the Oasis which i built awhile back,it is made of DollarTree foam and i use a variety
of glue depending on the situation.

Here is another one of mine called Cassutt.It has a 36.5 inch wingspan (11 inch cord )
Weigh's 16 oz with 3cell Batt.
A very nice flyer and it is Aerobatic but not 3D

Looking good Crash.

I'm needing to get another new camera to take easier/better pics than my keychain camera I bought after I gave my last camera to my daughter.

That looks a little like a Pinkus,how does she fly?

I haven't heard of the Pinkus before, so I looked it up. It does look a lot like it. It flies pretty well but does not like to slow down. It has a bad tendency to drop a wing at low speeds. Here's a flight video. You can see it drop its left wing twice as I slow it down to land.

I suspect that even, say...four inches of additional span would go a long way towards taming the Teal. It's flying qualities look to be pretty good.

It's the first plane I ever built from my own design, so I was thrilled that it flew at all! :D

Yes the Pinkus is a fast flyer and doesn't like to slow down.
What engine are you using in your plane?
I am using an Emax CF-2822 with a 1047sf prop
I use that combination in just about all my planes.

Here's a couple of mine. First is the Catsass. I tried for the most wing area with the lightest weight. Wingspan is 28 in. and weight is 5.6 oz. w.o. batt. Made from $store foam. Great for indoors as it flies along at walking speed. The other is a 3D tripe to see if I could bend EPP around to make a round front fuse. True 3D as it hangs on the prop with the best of them. Then there's Buba. He takes off vertically and his big feet swivel back and act like rudders. His legs are elevons. Flies surprisingly well. Does good loops and rolls.:D

No, afraid I don't. These are those "spur of the moment, I wonder if it'll work" type of things.:D Just working on a 36 in. version profile fuse., of the tripe for outdoor use.

Man, Crash. You seem to build about a plane a week. You must have about ... what? Maybe a thousand planes at this point?

I notice you're using that clear foam-cure glue. How do you like it? I bought some at my LHS and find it works pretty well, but it's more expensive than gold.

Not that many planes,most of them are long gone. I have seven at this time.
The UB already had wings from a previous build so it went together fast.
The glue is from Bob Smith Industries and is not the expensive stuff.
I got it from Headsup RC and it works well, i use it for a good share of my build and it
even works good for hingeing too.

My latest. Have been playing around, unsuccessfully, with flat-plate 3D EPP foamies recently, largely due to their inability to handle wind, and unresolved setup issues. Wanted to build a mild sport plane that would enable me to fly in winds of 10 MPH or so, and also give me some stick time with ailerons, without the twitchiness of the 3D models. This plane uses a EPS KF3 wing originally built for a trainer designed by Russ40 and shown on RC Groups. The design had some construction weaknesses and never flew. I salvaged the wing and reduced the dihedral of the two tip sections down almost flat. It has two CF spars for rigidity. The tail section generally replicates Russ40's shapes and areas. Wingspan - 48.5." Chord - 9.5." Wing area - 460.7 sq. inches. Fuselage, length - 37.5" is a 2 x2 inch block of blue builder's foam with a CF arrow shaft embedded in the top center. Foam was then given a slight aerodynamic shaping. Weight was relieved aft of the wing area through use of a Forstner bit, drilling from opposite sides and leaving a thin web at the center. As much as practical, the components are buried in cavities in the blue foam. Colored tape is mostly to add a bit of durability at the edges and for visual orientation cues, NOT for looks. This is a modified version of the original, which I equipped with a Keda KA20-50 29G 1088KV motor. Much to my surprise, with an AUW of only 17 oz. the beast wouldn't even leave the planet! I then re-fitted with a Firepower 400 2830 motor, 20A ESC, Hitec 7CH RX and an APC 8x4E prop, drawing 9.5A, which proved to be a perfect match, and gives me sprightly performance if requested, and also a leisurely 10 minutes on a 3S 1000MAH battery, with over 500 MAH remaining after flight. With the larger motor the AUW is now 18.3 OZ without battery. After a couple of test flights, I have what amounts to a great aileron trainer or mild sport flyer. It floats well, power off, flies nicely on maybe 1/3 throttle, will pull nice loops and barrell rolls. Won't do anything even faintly close to advanced maneuvers like a KE. So far it totally refuses to even fly inverted. When rolled on it's back, it heads for the ground - full elevator be damned! T&G's are great fun, even with a bamboo stick "tailwheel." Most of all, it seems to handle very reasonably in wind of 10 MPH or so, which was really my goal from the outset. How much the KF3 airfoil has to do with performance parameters I don't know. This is my first use of one. Simple curved sheet airfoils have worked very nicely for me on 3 CH models under 9 OZ, but they would not survive at this scale. Future attempts may involve use of actual airfoiled constructs. Perhaps at some point I will gain more skill and have better results with the flat-plate 3D models, but at this point I must say...nothin' beats a real airfoil!

Looks good 7UP, how does she fly?
I built one awhile back and flew it a few times and then tore it up a bit so i scrapped it.
One of these days i might build another one.
They are nice slow flyers.

Yep she flies but I've omly got to fly her 2 short trips around the ball field. Maybe I'll get some stick time this fall.
