Charging question
I've got a Thunder Power 910mAh/11.1V/16C/3cell battery that I've been charging with my Dynamite Li-po charger. The charger has 3 Cell Selections of 2/3/4 cells and 3 charge rates of 500/1000/2000 mA. I've heard that it's not safe to charge a Li-po above it's mAh rating, but the salesman at my local hobby shop told that I could charge my 910 mAh Li-po on the 1000 mA setting with no problem. I need some more opinions on this...is this safe or should I charge on the 500 mA setting?

you'd probably be ok as that is not too high over a 1c charge rate. I'd go at the 500 setting though to be safe.

I would imagine that it would be ok. Many packs (including all of our CSRC packs) are now rated to be charged at 2c. Just make sure the battery does not get too hot during charging.

The battery shouldn't get hot AT ALL if a lipo. Charging above 1c will degrade any lipo more than charging below 1C. If you aren't in any particular hurry, charge at 500ma. It always helps to have multiple packs so that it isn't necessary to hurry.
