Replacing Retracts
1 Attachment(s)
 Has anyone here had to replace the retracks on a FW-190?
They are installed between the wing halfs (upper and lower, its one piece when you get it) prior to it being assembled.
Cutting up the foam is the only option I see,..........

Retracts replacement
The Pilot who owns her clipped one of the flight stands at our field (crazy takeoff, dont know how he kept it up, she was all over the place. Anyway she was flying funny after that so he handed me the controls (I did not want too land it for him)to bring her down. Gentle touch down short rollout and they gaveout and collasped. They were broken on take off and the wheel covers were deflecting wind and moving around causing crazy adverse yaw .

Ouch!! I have the same plane and there are some known bugs and fixes with the gear struts. I thought maybe that was your problem. You need something a bit more

 Thanks for asking anyway, what are the bugs with the retracts? Do you know where too find the information you spoke about?

Main one seems to be the oleo strut scissor and axle stub coupler goes all wobbly . This dude seems to have it sorted.
