If, as you say, the heli can be controlled - while in the toilet bowl - it is not likely a problem with the electronics. Meaning the 4 in 1 (it is a 3 in 1 in a BCX3) or the servos....

I got my GY401 today and the manual shipped with the gyro says that the 'digital' mode will only operate with the Futaba tail servos. I invested in a JR3500G for the tail.
