Hi Fatcat1, I'm surprised you think yours is tail heavy because I had to cut foam out of the battery tray to get mine to be less nose heavy, and I've heard others say theirs is nose heavy by default...

Great suggestions, thanks. The latest Typhoons (or at least the one I bought 2 weeks ago) are including a 30A ESC that might hold up fine, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the 480 outrunner....

Gory carnage! It is great to know that these things can take quite a bit of abuse and repair to get flying again. A balsa-ribbed plane isn't quite so forgiving.
