Rowdyjoe are you using the EFlite 480? If so I am using that setup as well using the APC 11 X 5 E prop. I have tried 10.6 through 11 X 8 and the 11 X 5 seems to be the best match for me.

I was able to launch the World Models P 51D 40 EP from my launcher using my original bungee cord (127') and 18lbs pull. Worked great. That's all for posterity.

Great thread with good info. I've been looking for a larger P51D to fly. I'm currently flying the PZone P51D. It fly's great but extremely fragile, also hard to see at distance.
