1.3 EPP is a little lighter but tears easy and if you dont use carbon rod to truss up the tail section, I find that you have less control.
1.9 EPP is much tuffer and stiffer only slightly heavier...

I buy my foam @ RCFOAM 4 sheets at a time in 24x36 in. sheets. You can get 1.3 and 1.9 in white and 1.3 in black. I then find scratch built plans here or RCG print the full page plans and take them...
