Good advice. I have found that good lubrication and parts alignment are critical. I have checked the RPM of many Cessna's. Most of them will turn about 6300. The Citabria will turn up to 7000 plus....

Cheap quick fix for broken prop shaft

Broken prop shaft fix with no new parts.

Remove the broken prop shaft from the prop by driving it on through the prop toward the front. I used a large Tee head pin with the point ground off flat....
