i think the reason they are less efficient is the motor is losing power by having to spin the weight of the extra 2 blades. and im pretty sure the only reason the were used on old full size warbirds...

John, a switch may sound very convienient, but there are a few reasons they are not oncluded in lots of escs
1:they can act as a resistor a little bit and that means you will be losing power....

it says tho it will draw 11.3 amps on three cells with a 5x5 prop and will make your 14 oz plane go 76 mph with that setup. so for a 12$ motor thats a great deal

well i flew her today and got the balance figured...

well i flew her today and got the balance figured out. my battery is at the farthest forward spot it can be on the fuse. this thing is a ton of fun! very fast40 mph maybe with a 5$ motor off ebay....
