Here's a few more photos showing where I'm at ,but basically the model is complete in that the wings are self supporting and the ailerons are covered and hinged lots of work done but nothing to show...

Got the Forest green colour on the Boomer today i'm doing one of the aircraft that tried to protect Darwin during WW2 plus add a couple of Roundels and its a 1942 RAAF Boomerang of 5 squardron

Looks like heat shrink covering to me ? just apply a patch with the tip of an iron set to a warm temp
work from the edge inward otherwise the split will open up more as the material shrinks

Dont need one mother Nature supplies it and I use it we call it vapour drive ;)
AUW so far is bang on 3.0kg that with 6 servos Rx and a 6volt 5 cell pack

BTW I use normal mic's, verniers ,height gauges ,bore gauges, thread gauges,Theodolites and Laser trackers and slide rules ;)
