Ye were on the money. Cut off all the connections and re-soldered the lot. Found one bad connection on the ESC. Motor purred like a tiger. praise the lord.....!

Thks for d info. I feared as much. line of sight is obviously important even if using FPV. Am flying on a 35mhz radio and using 2.4 for the wireless video. Wont be going outside 1km so....

Apparently I can go analogue with a TV dish and get a better range. !!!

How would I go about doing that??? The 2.4ghz power limits in Ireland are for digital transmission only.
