BL-3GRC gyro setup

I would like to set up a 3 position switch to control gyro operation off/rate/HH . After looking at the BL documentation it seems I have to do it with 2 switches, Is this correct? Thanks

Can I assume that there will be no interference between a 2.4ghz receiver and ESC even if they are located "next to each other " ....I mean about 2 inches apart on opposite sides of a fuselage?

OK, I will build up elev with sticks with a beefy LE then sand to shape. I was thinking of sheeting both sides with 1/16 or 1/32 balsa then monokote.
