having the Rx antenna in the wing (or fuse) is the way to go. i used this method on all of my models (i hate the dangle wire!).
if you feel that it's going to be tail heavy, use a bigger battery....

like any wing, they are pitch sensitive. use the recommended CG, a little motor (3/4 stick) and it'll fly right out of your hand.
no real bad habits with this wing. i haven't had a single tip stall....
