having a BEC never crossed my mind by the way....on a small parkflyer sure no use at all to have seperate powersource for the servos...but on a bird this size...nah...I wouldn't dare to even think...

Was going for a piston engine at first....luckily couldn't find one that could fit in the cowling ...This build got me totally converted to e-power...just can't find any reason going to glow or fuel...

Right..I am not aiming to go IMAC at all with this bird... rather more on the sedate valse-like style of flying...But I figure that with that short nose seems to me that I'll be needing weight in...

About weight...I weighted my build at 1lbs 4 oz as is...roughly a tad over 10% of 12 lbs....

Power Loading of the full scale Norseman is 12.3 lb/hp and was stated by many pilots to be underrated...but aerodynamics laws work differently when you scale...

Yep I misspelled there....Lower voltages\heavier.....only advantage in using as an independent power source for RX and servos due to the 3.3 v per cell...
