The Dean's connector is fine, no signs of overheating the solder connections (which I did see on a WOT crash of another plane).

The battery was fine, about 3.8 v/cell and just warm to the touch...

For a beginner, I suggest their P-51 Mustang PTS ARF. I have not yet seen it...
