rebuilt it, and sold it. The ways were not very good however.
currently have a chinese enco 13x40.

Do not "cheap out" on drill bits.

Cleveland, Alpha, Hertel, etc., good buys.
you don't really need anything...

learn the basics+ of control :

fly the racetrack pattern, level. use aileron and rudder together
(co-ordinated turn)....

By then I should have saved enough to have a choice in hobby lasers.
There is just a lot work...

I did get shorted 2 of the dihedral braces, and a wing tip 3/4" triangle.

carefully rat-tail filed the id, for a snug fit on the shoulder.
the ring to prop hub fit was good to go, and so...

Have APC prop. what is the trick for fitting the prop's little adapter ring onto the motor shaft adapter ?

it is tight enough, to not go down...

My thoughts too :) Local club ( I am an ex member) keeps a Nitro trainer.
There is also an fair sized electric trainer (balsa) , for sale used, at the LHS. cant see it flying well in 15mph winds...
