The T-Hawk has a good reputation for a first airplane. One downside is the 27mhz T-Hawk radio, as compared to the 72mhz EasyStar RTF radio. Since 27mhz is an "open" frequency band, in some areas there may be so many radio "glitches" that the plane cannot be reliably controlled. Might be best to not install the landing gear initially . . just hand launch level, cut thrust at altitude to practice gliding, and land on a park or school yard lawn. One tree recovery technique. FMS sim . . T-Hawk file.
