Do not leave your transmitter lying in the grass when you have a new puppy.
They will pee on it.
First day of vacation and I'm out having fun with the 180 qx and momentarily put down the radio to adjust the lens on the camera. Turned around to see thhe dog pee all over the transmitter. It was off at the time so I dried it off best I could, inside and out, then tried powering up. Whisp of magic smoke then nothing.
Ended up driving an hour and a half into town to pick up a dx8.

To make things worse, I came home to a power outage. Can't charge any of my batteries to get flying again.
Yikes, aren't animals fun?

You'll like the DX8 unit.

Retired and the days are just too short, busier than ever!
