Default Vintage Wheels (light)

Just thought I'd throw this out there. I've used the top wheel pictured, it's 65mm. Pretty good for a 1/12 or so plane.

These look pretty good for a vintage WWI wheel, they're cheap, and very light. Basically, I bought them for the "tire". The wheels get covered in card stock like most of you have done or seen.

The foam is a bit flat on the sides, not a round cross section like it should be, but more of a "U"

The second one shown, (yellow spokes) are VERY light, and come in smaller sizes. I haven't bought them, but if I ever do a converted rubber band kit, I may use them.

Just go here...

If that doesn't work, just go to the left of page, under "categories", and click on "Wheels/Landing Gear".

Large...

or small...

Thanks!

Yep, for that price, there're really nothing else that comes this close that I've found for a small plane.
