Default Has anyone tried this yet?

I just saw this add at Horizon

Price is $109.99

I was planning on buying another AR 7000...

Email a Friend
$99.99

So for $10 difference I can get the DSM 2 module and AR 7000.

I'd like to put the module in my DX 6 transmitter.

I like the DX 6 but it only works with the AR6000 receivers.

Can I put this module in the DX 6 and switch it to DSM 2 ?
Then I can use that transmitter with all my receivers.

the DX6 is not a module based system, (none of the spektrum systems are) so offically no you could not do that. Un-offically it's probably possible to upgrade the radio board in a dx6 but that's very advanced and you really have to know what your doing.

Since you were going to purchase an AR7000 i'm assuming you have another DSM2 transmitter?

Yes, I have the DX 7. Just thought it would be nice to be able to use the DX 6 with some of the other planes.
