Default Value Hobby Aviator Trainer.

I ordered one of these from Value Hobby last Wednesday and it arrived yesterday. http://www.valuehobby.com/product_de...49&item_id=393

It's a heck of a plane for $55 and $12.95 shipping. Pretty well built, and I've only incountered one small problem. I'll have to enlarge the grove for the main gear. Covering is nice.(better than I could do)
I'm going to go with either a Turnigy 3536C 1100kV or the 3542C 1000kV. I've already got both. I may try it first with the 3536C. This is the largest plane I've owned. I wanted something stable I could fly in moderate winds. It uses standard size servos. Which I didn't have, but VH has some inexpensive ones that look good. I'll get some pictures up later.
This was my first order with them and they got the stuff out fast. They have got very reasonable prices, and are going to give HK a run for their money.

Yup the prices are good if you look on ebay most of the planes sold at valuehobby are on ebay but more expensive. I have a plane somewhat similar and the wgt. is in the ball park it does all right with 10 to 15 mph wind you do need to be on the sticks though it will still get tossed some. The dihedral and being a high wing will catch the wind.

I bought 4 of Value Hobby's Power-HD (HD-1160-A) 16 gram mini-servos for $5 ea. I think they were slightly less than HK sells them for. Fast delivery and a lot less postage. I'm very satisfied, and they are quite powerful for their size.
