He's seen me scratch out more than a few planes (when you're broke-outta work for months at a time ya learn to use what's around! hehe) but this time he has something HE wants and is motivated to make it happen. Makes me proud to see him do this, he's a good kid.
We'll be out at the fairgrounds around 7 or so......along with our other flyers we'll be bringing his project.....so's he can present it for inspection and approval

see ya in the morning,

that reminds me of a story...
a buddy once tried bringing my dads gun back after reblueing it... he called me up and asked it it was legal if he rode with it out in the open....I figured he was gonna put it in the seat next to him in his truck... so I told him it would be fine, as long as it wasn't loaded.....

Little did I know... He straped it to his back with the rifle sling, and rode his crotchrocket to my shop.... he got pulled over right in back of my shop... cops made him get on the ground and the whole nine yards....

when questioned about it... he said "its legal right"... the cops reply was..."well...yea... but this is pomona...." LOL

I know its a bad area, but come on... how many gangbangers strap winchester lever-action rifles to their back and ride crotchrockets....LOL

sure was funny though....

Green Ace I wish you could too. I like your innovation and your willingness to try unusuall stuff weather it has a chance of working or doesn't you still try it. So feel free to post your creations on this thread. And in a way you are in the club, Our east coast rep. Ray, tell Robbie I approve very highly of his foamy carving skills and there's plenty more where that came from . And I was given a motor that might be a good candidate for that Scratch Built Stryker . It's a Chinese outrunner about a 370 size. and rated at 1000 Kv it's not too heavy and it looks like it'll do the job. He can have it to make his creation fly. And then if he wants to go faster I have another one that was given me thats a really powerfull motor but above 3/4 throttle it cuts out so maybe you can fix it Getterdone and we'll make sure he flies it tell him.

There are a few edf jets at our field tim bring out your companies stuff . It's a 1/10th mi. sq. With a 30 ' light pole in the center. A H.L. exec. Jet and a H.P.Phase 3 F-16. I've even seen the E-flight Jetliner fly there.

Well, I tried......but wasn't real successful Just too fast for me I guess
There is one quick grainy shot of you coming up off the ground.....prolly into a hover is my guess, then at the very end of the recording I happen to pick the plane up and pointed it at your flying a cool knife edge right in front of us
Hmmmm, the best AV of that flight was when I wasn't flying!! I'll post that video when I have a spare sec today.

hehe,
Ray
