Here is the start of my entry for contest #2, this shows the plans and the fuse after i drew
bend lines inside and taped the outside and folded it.


Also i have some formers cut out and the tail feathers.

And a little more progress on the Yak build.


Here i have installed some formers and also made the canopy.

And here i have installed the canopy and added paint to it.

And here is the last Pic for now showing a little more paint work and the tail feathers are on.

Got the landing gear made and installed. Installed the servo's for rudder and elevator.
Made the motor mount of 1\8th ply and mounted the motor to F1
The motor is a BM2410-08 and will use a 1047GWS prop.
The Batt. is a 3sLipo 1000mah

Here you can see the Kline Fogelman type wing with the double thickness on the bottom.


The wing halves are ready to have the ailerons taped on. I use a combination of packing tape and Blenderm. I use the packing on top and the strips of Blenderm on the bottom.

Ok here is a sneak preview of what it will look like when finished.


Of course i don't have the ailerons hooked up and am not finished with the inside work.

Hey Crash, that looks great man. How is the canopy done? just a plug or rolled foam?

The pattern is cut for both sides and tape and draw bend lines on inside and glue together
with hot glue. Then after bending to shape remove the tape. I use clear packing tape.
I have formers in the cockpit of the fuse.

Well here she is all finished.


I flew it this morning and it flew ok but i do need to do some tweakin on it before i am satisfied with it.

Well i flew her this morning again and she is flying good now. She really rolls nice and fast and does nice big loops. She does hover but i am not proficient at that.
Looks like i have another keeper. Well for awhile anyway.Ha
