Beautiful job! Looks great! I remember mine fondly. It's very aerobatic, so I would keep the rates low to start, until you get it trimmed out. The red-white-blue one on the MM website was mine.

Thanks Buzz. I did set the low rates a little lower than the specs, high rates also a little lower than spec. I'll try to get some video of the maiden.

I know its been a long time since there was any posts in this thread. But Mountain Models kits are still my favorite.
I have a SmoothE sport I finished a while back.
I also have a Switchback Sr framed up and started covering. Also an Eva Sport in the same stage.
Will post pictures soon.

Mountain Models seems to be out of business or has suspended business because of health, etc. issues.

Let's hope Brian can recover & continue making great flying planes. I've build 'a few' over the years and I recently took one out of storage...my Dandy GT build from 2003.

I installed a new motor & fresh batts. What a blast this Lil hot-rod is.! it'll go straight up and do all the usual maneuvers. I asked my buds wife to pose with the GT.

Btw, that's a nitro heli....hovering behind her.
